Stall Agreement

This agreement is between Orgesa Meli, trading as Configur Academy (the organiser), and the stallholder below.

02 The fee

The stall fee is paid by card through the booking link when you reserve the stall. Your child keeps all the takings from their own sales.

03 You, the parent or guardian

You sign this agreement on your child's behalf and are responsible for the safety of what your child sells, how your child behaves on the day, and anything that arises from the stall.

04 What you agree to

By ticking the boxes below, you're agreeing to all of this:

  • The things your child sells are safe, lawful, honestly described, and mostly made or prepared by your child.
  • A parent or another responsible adult stays with your child for the whole market. Children are not left at a stall on their own.
  • You arrive in time to set up from 11:30, stay for the session, bring your own table and bits unless we've agreed otherwise, and clear the pitch at the end.
  • Your child is kind and well behaved around the other children and the public.
  • You go along with any sensible request from us on the day, like where to set up and what to do if there's a fire.
A word on food: if your child wants to sell anything to eat or drink, please tell us first so we can keep it safe. Anything edible needs to be clearly labelled with what's in it and any allergens.

05 What we provide

  • A marked pitch for your child on the day you've booked.
  • A welcome and a quick run-through on arrival, covering the layout, toilets and fire exits.
  • Orgesa on hand the whole time for anything you need.

06 Responsibility

You are responsible for your child's products, money and behaviour. You agree to cover us for any claim, loss, injury or cost that comes from your child's stall or from breaking this agreement.

We aren't responsible for theft, loss or damage to your child's goods, money or belongings before, during or after the market.

Nothing here removes our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that can't be signed away under English law.

07 If you need to cancel

The fee isn't refundable. If you let us know in good time, we can put it towards a future market instead. If we have to call the market off, or it can't go ahead for reasons outside our control, you'll get your fee back in full or carried over to another date.

08 Your information

We keep your details only to run the market and hold a record of this agreement. We don't pass them to anyone else without your say-so, and we delete them within 24 months of your last market unless the law says we have to keep them.

02 The fee

Your pitch fee is paid by card through the booking link when you reserve your stall. You keep all takings from your own sales. We don't take a cut.

03 What you agree to

By ticking the boxes below, you agree to all of this:

  • Hold valid Public Liability Insurance of at least £1 million for the market date, and send us a copy of the certificate before market day. This applies to everyone selling goods or providing a service to the public.
  • Sell only goods that are lawful, safe, accurately described and fairly priced, meeting UK consumer law including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and any product safety rules that apply.
  • Arrive in time to set up from 11:30 and stay on your pitch for the full two hours unless agreed in advance.
  • Bring your own equipment unless we've agreed in writing to provide it, take everything away at the end, and leave the pitch as you found it.
  • Behave appropriately around children and the public at all times. Anything we consider unsafe, dishonest, abusive or unsuitable means leaving straight away without a refund.
  • Go along with any reasonable request from us on the day, including layout, fire safety and what to do in an emergency.

04 What we provide

  • A clearly marked pitch for the day you've booked.
  • A mention in our event promotion where it makes sense.
  • A quick run-through on arrival covering layout, toilets, fire exits and emergency contacts.
  • Orgesa as your point of contact on the day.

05 Liability and indemnity

You are responsible for your own goods, equipment, takings and conduct, and for the safety and quality of anything you sell or provide.

You agree to cover us against any claim, loss, damage, injury, fine or legal cost arising from your products, services, conduct or breaking this agreement.

We aren't responsible for theft, loss or accidental damage to your goods, equipment or takings before, during or after the market.

Nothing here removes our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that can't be signed away under English law.

06 Cancellation

The fee isn't refundable. If you let us know in advance, we can move it to another market date instead. If we have to cancel, or the market can't go ahead for reasons beyond our control, your fee is refunded in full or carried over to another date.

07 Your information

We keep your details to run the market, stay in touch with stallholders and hold a record of this agreement. We don't pass them on without your say-so, and we delete them within 24 months of your last market unless the law says we have to keep them.
